How the club app works
Key Takeaways
- Browse your club's members and privately add anyone you'd like to meet.
- When it's mutual, you're connected, with 48 hours to plan a meet.
- No swiping and no endless messaging: the chat disappears when the time is up.
The club app is everything a dating app is not. Everyone in it is a member your club's host approved, nobody learns you'd like to meet them unless they want to meet you too, and the point is to meet in person.
Browse your club
Open the club app and browse your club's members: their photo, first name, age and city, and their answers to the club's questions.
Like to meet, privately
If someone catches your eye, tap I'd like to meet. They're added to your Like to meet list, and they aren't told.
When it's mutual, you're connected
When you're on each other's lists, you're both told at once, and the clock starts: 48 hours to plan a meet in real life.
- A chat for planning. Your chat is there to pick a time and a place, and it disappears when the 48 hours run out.
- Then meet. Coffee, a walk, a drink. You've both already said you'd like to meet.
After every club event
Met someone at a Meet Before You Swipe® event? Like them in the app. Likes are private, and if they like you too, it's a match. Find an event.
Private by design
- Members only. Only people your club's host approved are in the app.
- Your list is yours. Nobody sees who you'd like to meet.
- Block and report. Block anyone at any time, and report anything to the host.
In a club with a membership fee, meeting members in the club app is part of membership. Founding members have it free, for good. Learn about founding members.
About Halllo
Halllo is re-inventing how singles meet, match, and connect. Hosts build members-only social clubs, and singles meet in person first at Meet Before You Swipe® events, then match after.
