Halllo

How events work for hosts

Key Takeaways

  • You create an event in nine steps, and see what you'll receive before you publish.
  • You approve every guest, and tickets go on sale once 100 guests are approved.
  • After the event, the app does the matching, and you're paid.

Every Halllo event is a Meet Before You Swipe® event: your members meet in person first and match after, in the app. You plan the night. Halllo runs the tickets, the guest list, the door and the matching.

Create an event in nine steps

Every event belongs to your club, so your club's requirements and questions come with it. Name it, set the date, the place and the price, plan the agenda, add your co-hosts, and publish.

Approve every guest

Guests register on your event's page, answer your club's questions, and wait for your yes. You see every registration from the first one, with each guest's profile and answers, and you approve or decline each one.

On the night

Check guests in at the door from your phone, by their ticket's QR code or by hand. There's no speed dating and nobody on a timer: your guests meet through the activities you planned, so an event can be 300 people, not 30.

After the event, the app does the matching

Your guests open the club app and like the people they met. Likes are private. When two people like each other, it's a match, and they can chat. Nobody can like someone they didn't meet.

You're paid after the event, into the bank account you connect through Stripe. Learn how hosts earn.

About Halllo

Halllo is re-inventing how singles meet, match, and connect. Hosts build members-only social clubs, and singles meet in person first at Meet Before You Swipe® events, then match after.
